Yet again I have pulled a card inspired by a prayer of St. Francis:

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.
Francis of Assisi

My question of today is based on:
“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is despair let me sow hope.”
The question is: How I can I sow hope?

I have pulled the Moon from the Tarot of Prague. A theme of Moon card is illusion.

Today my thoughts –as the thoughts of many in the world- go to all who have lost loved ones in the attack of 9-11. Caused by radicalism and an attitude of intolerance of a few Muslims in Holland there fear of Islam. That makes it for the majority of Muslims who are tolerant and law abiding citizens difficult to live freely in our country.

Sowing hope today means helping to dispel illusions about Islamic people and about Islam. That people live together in peace is my prayer of today.
