Simchat Torah

Today (it started with sundown today) it is the day of the Jewish festival Simchat Torah, meaning rejoicing of/with the Torah. From this day on a new cycle of readings begins, starting with Genesis. On this festival the Torah rolls are carried round, danced with, touched en sometimes kissed.

It is too late in fact for me, but just now I asked: What is for me the joy of Scripture (I am a Christian so there is the New Testament as well)? The card that I received was the Sun from the Victorian Romantic Tarot, one of the most sweet, light and lovely Suns I know. There is my answer: sweet, light and lovely.

Did not expect this card. .
