Chanukah Spread: Card 2, Aysh - Fire

Today I have pulled the second card for the -too early- Chanukah spread. The festival of Chanukah starts on December 4.The second position based on A - Aysh – Fire – and the question is: What is the fire that burns in your life?

Using the Tarot of Jane Austen I have pulled Three of Candlesticks. The character that is shown on the card is William Price. He holds a globe in his hands, and has his set on the ship that will bring in fortune, and will get him out of his poverty.

The fire that burns brightly in my life are the courses and workshops, and the enthusiasm when teaching. This work does not bring fortune in a material sense, but it is extremely satisfying to teach these tarot groups. The result is that the fire burns high at the moment; a little bit too high maybe. I teach with a great enthusiasm, but my own enthusiasm does tire me out.

Still, better this than depression. And according to the homeopath I will not fall prey to a burn-out. My body will have given it up much earlier.
