Gospel of Thomas Logion 5, What is Hidden

Yesterday I pulled a card about logion 5 from the Gospel of Thomas.

(5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest."

I asked what it was that I could recognize in my sight. My card was Three of Cups, from the Spirit of Flowers Tarot.

I could read the card, but not really. I coul not see what is hidden from me. It felt like cheating, it is...., but today I pulled another card that told me what was hidden and what could become plain to me through yesterdays Three of Cups. That card was the Page of Pentaces from the Tarot of Prague.

Gospel of Thomas Logion 5, What Becomes Plain

Yesterday I struggled with the interpretation of the two cards I pulled inspired by logion 5 of the Gospel of Thomas.

(5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest."

Three of Cups from the Spirit of Flowers Tarot showed what is in my sight, and the Page of Pentacles from the Tarot of Prague showed what will become plain to me.

I focused on the church in the card of the Page of Pentacles. If I recognize my confidence it will be easier for me to focus on my own spirituality. It is the self confidence here that is important, that makes that the ‘church’ becomes manifest, so to speak.

After I wrote this I remembered that self-confidence, and the lack of it, has been a theme in some dream-work I did this week.
