My biggest turn-around this month was getting up from this piano to dance (…on the look-out for Frederick, whom Anne loves…but had sent away to her regret… ), away from a position of self-denial, self-loathing, and cruelty. In this month was the festival of the receiving of the Torah on the Mount Sinaï. Receiving the Torah, receiving spirituality was an important theme for this month. I think I can be grateful for all the things I am able explore on the my spiritual path, despite all the obstacles and road-blocks I meet.
I did not have the card in my thoughts that I had pulled for the past month, which was Death. The process I described above is a process that belongs to Death, but still I wanted to pull an extra card for the most important Teshuva regarding the card for this month, Death.
This card was Knight of Candlesticks (Wands). On the card Catherine Morland and Henry Tilney from the book Northanger Abbey are driving towards the Abbey where many adventures will take place. Catherine really looks forward to seeing the house.
When I pulled Death I associated this card with my daughter leaving the primary school. I made the transition of looking back to the years of the primary school to looking forward to the years of the secondary school. We as parents, children and teachers have had a wonderful party which helped the transition a great deal.
