Today it is the feast day of St. Clare of Assisi. I wrote a spread inspired by words from her, so I have had the opportunity to spent some time with her in the last few days. I wondered what she taught me. That is the theme of the card that I pulled today. I received Four of Cups from the Tarot of Saints. Depicted is the Annunciation. The angel tells Mary she will give birth the son of God. That is a bit much to take in, so Mary looks away.

I have worked on the sentence: “Set your mind before the mirror of eternity!”

What I do understand is that Clare gave me a glimpse of the peace and quiet the mirror of eternity can bring if I set my mind (full of worries) before the mirror. I see Clare as the angel Gabriël with the message. If I am Mary on the card getting the message, I do not understand why I turn my head, because I really liked that glimpse. So, hmmm. I do not know.
