December 10, Not Raising any Dust

Clare wishes for Agnes that her feet do not stumble, so that even her walking does not raise any dust.

“(11) (…)What you hold, may you continue to hold,
what you do, may you keep doing and not

(12) but with swift pace, nible step, and feet that
do not stumble so that even your walking
does not raise any dust (...)."

The question of today is about the ‘dust’ Clare speaks about.

Why must I be careful that my walking –the things I do to fulfill my divine calling– not raise any dust? What is the dust that I need to prevent?

I have pulled the Devil from the Tarot of the Crone.

The dust that I need to prevent is immobilization: not embodying my strength and truth, not taking time to do the things I long for, and like. If I don't do this, the void will control me, and the devil will eat me.
