Yom Kippur Katan

Today I have drawn a card to look back on the past moon month. The moon is dark, It is the festival of Yom Kippur Katan, a moment to reflect on what is behind me, to start anew tomorrow. My card is Seven of Teacups from the Tarot of Jane Austen.

Depicted is Harriet Martin from the book Emma. Harriet does not use her own discernment, but is let astray by Emma. She is caught up in fantasies, and is disappointed in her love life (it ends well though).

Oh boy, this card is right on top. There was illusion and there were disappointments. I tried a bike which ordered a bigger one, and I did not buy it. I had hoped to get extra education which was paid for, but I did not fit in the rules. On the whole I did know what to do and were to go next. I did not like it, I felt uncomfortable

Ah well, on to the new month, and to a whole new year, with the theme of the Wheel of Fortune. (Hence the new bike....a bike without electricity, I can do without it now, and the plans for the new education.)

I offer my past month now.
It falls as water through my fingers.
That good will things will grow out of it,
wisdom, discernment and direction.
