Romantic Pink

After I had finished yesterdays’ post about Nine of Swords from the Fantastic Menagerie Tarot, in which a little bird is fallen out of the nest and lies flat on the ground, it appeared that I had a temp. In no time I was lying down flat, just as the little birdie on the card.

Not feeling all too well today, I have asked the tarot the question: “How to enhance my day?”

I have pulled the Knight of Cups, again from the Fantastic Menagerie Tarot. It is not the Queen of Pentacles, who cares for our bodies; it is not a pentacle at all, suggesting sensible pleasures, but still… This Knight of Cups seems to drink from his cup and is enjoying that. I think it would enhance my day and better my health, if I just relaxed, give in to the needs of my body to rest, maybe drinking a cup of coffee in town as well. I almost never do that anymore.

The Knight on this card looks dreamingly into the air, his head decorated with romantic pink flowers. It would enhance my day if I my thoughts were romantic, dreamingly: rosy, comforting, gentile to myself and others, and optimistic (instead of worrying, like yesterday).

Resting is going to be difficult though. I do have some work to do. I need to prepare an Inner Child course. Well, I can dream about how nice, playful and interesting this course will be (even the shadow work parts in it).
